England won T20 World Cup 2022

England emerged as the champions of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2022. The final showdown featured the top two teams, Pakistan and England, with England winning by 5 wickets. Pakistan set a score of 137 runs in 20 overs, and England successfully chased it down in 19 overs with a total of 138/5. Virat Kohli from India was the leading run-scorer in the tournament, making 296 runs in 6 matches. The best bowler was Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga, who took 15 wickets in 8 matches with an economy of 6.41.

T20 World Cup 2021 Winner

The last game of the T20 World Cup 2021 featured Australia and New Zealand. Australia secured a convincing win against New Zealand by 8 wickets, making them the winners of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. It was Australia’s first time clinching the T20 World Cup title. T20 World Cup 2010 Winner

England claimed victory in the T20 World Cup in 2010, making them the first non-Asian team to achieve this feat. They defeated their Ashes rivals, Australia, in the final with a 7-wicket win. Despite losing their initial game against the West Indies, the English team bounced back, winning all subsequent matches and securing the championship. Kevin Pietersen, a key player from the winning team, was named the Player of the Series in the T20 World Cup 2010.

Pakistan, after being runners-up in the first T20 World Cup, clinched their first T20 World Cup title in 2009. The tournament was hosted by England, and Pakistan emerged as champions by defeating Sri Lanka in the final with an 8-wicket win. The Indian cricket team, led by MS Dhoni, made history by winning the first T20 World Cup in 2007. They beat Pakistan in the final, securing their victory.
