IPL 2024 Players Released
Beginning from IPL 2023, the BCCI introduced the “TRADE” option, allowing franchises to trade players or conduct cash transactions during the ‘IPL Trade Window.’ This opportunity allows released players to enter the auction, giving them a chance to join a new team before the league kicks off.
According to IPL regulations, each franchise can have a squad comprising 25 players, out of which a maximum of 8 can be foreign players. Moreover, in the Playing XI, teams can include a maximum of 4 overseas players.
